The dealer wants $120+ for a replacement 3495A-WB1U711 remote. My first is kaput. Is there a better price than $50 online? Is this a good vendor?
Also, any sites where I can learn about setting up a replacement using my one that still works?

Check ebay for remotes - you may need to give the vendor some number off the back of your remaining remote unit.

After a couple of reminder emails, I finally got my spare remotes from the site above. All the programming instructions I can find refer to arcane rituals of carefully timed this and that. Isn't there some way to clone the settings from the good remote I have?

Nope. You may be able to pay the dealership to reprogram them for you. A GOOD dealership would do it at no charge.
