Read code and it states a knock sensor issue. The car when accelerating sometime just doesnt respond and seemes very sluggish. After a little while it seems to kick in and i am off an runing. Want to know i anyone has had this experience and if replacing the knock sensor makes sense in this case. I have read other forums where it is not always the knock sensor. Please help!

The computer has probably defaulted to extremely retarded timing if the knock sensor is out. That is why the car is sluggish.
