2004 Legacy Manual

Hi

Does anyone have, or know where I can obtain a copy of the manual for a 2004 Legacy wagon (latest shape).

Thanks in advance.

Regards, Matthew

Try contacting Subaru, the manufacturer.

Are you looking for the owners manual or a service manual? I see you're in New Zealand so things may be different there, but here in the US both are available through the Subaru website. For the service manual Subaru is the only source as there are currently no aftermarket (Haynes, Chilton etc.) manuals available for the late model cars. There is a subscription available for $34.95 that allows you to download the manual as a (large) quantity of individual PDF files, this is a much cheaper option compared to buying the print version of the manual which costs around $300. You should check on the NZ/AU Subaru website to see if a similar option is available to you, also you can contact Subaru by email or phone and ask.

Thanks for the info.

Mainly after owners manual so I can see what all the buttons and dials do :)

I have seen the aftermarket haynes ones before, but I think they are more workshop oriented, and I dare not fiddle with it (yet)....

I might contact Subaru locally here and see what they say.

I think there is an online resource somewhere though, but I can't for the life of me remember where.

I have had 3 previous subaru's to this one. 1993 Impreza, 1996 legacy, and

2000 Impreza... Current one is a world rally limited model in rally blue - and latest shape :)

Matthew.
