2006 Pass side climate

Hi all-

I just had my 2006 OB LLBean wagon into the dealer, one of my complaints being no passenger side heating. I'm the second owner, for less than 6 months. Cooling seems to work fine.

With the car warmed up and the climate control set to "auto", I turn both the drivers and passengers setting to the max of 85F. The drivers side is too hot to even sit there for long, while the passenger side I couldn't even consider warm. This is the same result I get when I take it off of auto and set it to come through the dash vents.

The dealer said the reason for no heat was foam stuck in the vent, I told him that plenty of air was coming out, it was just cold air, he replied that was normal for having foam stuck in the vent.

FWIW, my other complaint was slow coolant loss w/no visible leak.

0.5L in 2 months.

So my question is this: When you turn both settings to the same temperature (heating) do they seem, or should they be, the same temperture on both sides of the car?

Thanks for any and all help!
