What are people paying the dealer for the 15,000 miles service if I only have done what is mandatory in the manual to take care of the warranty?? Ed Hayes

I have a 2002 Forester, it is serviced at Nashua Subaru, NH.

I paid $180.95 for the 15k service.. I had recently installed my winter wheels, and this amount did not include wheel rotation and balancing.

I don't have the manual in front of me, but as I recall, most of it was just inspect, adjust top off as needed. I did it all myself and just made a notation in the manual and dated and initialed it.

youcan find the list of recommended maintenance items at their mileageintervals and make a list for yourself. Here's what they list for a 97 Outback at 15K.
