airbag info??

I hope this does not seem too dumb of a question. I have to change some instrument panel bulbs on my 95 Legacy. Should I disable the airbag system before I start? The info I have read says any work in the area of the components or connecters is risky. What do you all think? Thanks.

No, it is not necessary to disable the air bags while changing bulbs. Just do not use a test light to probe harnesses and connectors in air bag equipped cars.

Steve,

Thanks for the info.
