camshaft catback

i have a 02 wrx with a jdm s203 motor and tranny does any body know where to get a catback or offroad cams for this motor

Offroad cams? Who are you talking to? What is your intended purpose?

For one thing, this car isn't as amenable to engine work as, say, a straight

6 or 4 or even a v8. Valve covers, due to the boxer's very nature, are about 2" from the wheel wells, so while possible, it isn't a damn bit easy to swap cams without pull>

Mr Jones,

I don't understand what you're referring to. There is no such thing as offroad cams. There are variations in lift and duration; most who usually swap out their cams do so to allow their car to breathe more efficiently than oe cams allow. Many of them do so in concert with full head work, from enlarging ports to deburring casting flashes to strengthening drivetrain parts. Read up on it here:

Further, anyone can unloosen bolts and pull a motor. When you begin to open your engine, it's much more critical that you're certain of what you're doing.
