Dealer Cost

I used to work in a consumer electronics store. The owner had a sheet of paper with the "actual cost" of the items he was selling. Often he would show this to a customer to let them know how little he was making on a TV or stereo. Of course the price sheet was real, but he wasn't buying from the wholesaler who's price sheet he was using. He was paying substantially less.

Eventually they cave though...after calling the prices bogus, me a jerk, cheap etc. Car dealers are bottom feeding scum who make money based on ignorance. Information and self-control are the key to beating them.
