Nice touch for my '97 Outback

I just put one of those Wheelskin leather steering wheel covers on my Outback. Much nicer feel than the plastic steering wheel, and if you take your time putting it on right it looks like it came from the factory. They come in lots of colors, so you can mix or match them to your car. I got charcoal and it matches the interior perfectly. It just takes time to put it on right and make it look professional.

Anyway, I have nothing to do with the company. I just think it's a nice touch for not much money if you want a professional looking steering wheel that has a nice tactile feel to it.

Thanks for the recommendation. I've been looking for a cover for my wife's steering wheel that might make her grip more comfortable. I'll try the Wheelskin.

One more thing: After a couple of days I noticed some small bumps under the cover -- it really fits tight and looks OEM when you do it right. I e-mailed the company and they told me it might be some perforations trapped under the cover when I put it on, so they are going to send me a new lace and needle so I can get inside and remove whatever is under there. It still looks great, but you might want to double check you're not accidentally pushing any small perfs under the cover when you lace it on.

They even implied that if there were any more problems they would send me a new cover. Great company. autoupgrade.net
