Nissan Sylvia long gone, Mazda RX cancelled, Subaru dropping the Imprezza ... looks like all the hoons and boy-racers will have to switch to the BRZ / Toyota 86 and Nissan 350Z as the only alternatives.

with the current petrol prices in the uk i doubt the 6 banger 3[57]0z will be a viable choice for the poms

With the amount of money they already spend on replacing tyres (after doing "burnouts" and wheel spins), lowering them, after-market / add-on kits, extra dials on the dashboard, repainting them, re-upholstering them, fancy stereo systems, etc., etc. the cost of petrol is nothing. :-)
