Question

Any thoughts on which of these is the better one to go with:

2002 Subaru Outback LL Bean 3.0 wagon - $17990
1-owner, pristine, non-smoker, all the perks, including power, leather, dual roofs, 6-disc CD, cassette; lower than average miles - 48k, white.

or

2002 Subaru Limited Edition Wagon - $17,000
1-owner, Good condition, non-smoker, single sun roof, leather, power windows etc., cd player, cassette, - 35,000k, white (needs new tires)

If both have been maintained per factory and have receipts I'd go with the Outback.

you didn't mention location (or currency) so i can't comment on the price, but they are close enough to be almost "equal".

i have an '02 special edition wagon (without leather), and i really like it. but it always feels underpowered (i really have to kick it to get up to speed, etc.), and i sometimes bang the tail on ramps and speed bumps, because the ground clearance (with trailer hitch) is ridiculously low.

the outback will give you more power and higher ground clearance, but you'll probably pay for it in gas mileage and a rougher ride - that's life!
