1993 Chevy Astro Misfire

Please help if you have any advice for the condition below.

1993 Chevy Astro Van 4.3 L with 150K. The engine has a rough idle. Also, the engine misfires under acceleration. Plugs, wires, and coils are new.

Upon acceleration it kinda sounds like it's running rich but there is no black smoke from the exhaust. So I'm leaning toward a leaning problem. Or perhaps a stuck upon EGR valve.

Please help if you have any suggestions. Thanks

Tom

Check fuel pressure. If pressure doesn't hold after pump turns off, you could have a fuel regulator or injector feed line leak. A small leak will cause engine to run rich. Leans out as speed increases. Easy problem to check.
