central locking lights sticking on

Oct 27, 2008 3 Replies

I have a Daewoo Tacuma and the central locking lights are staying on. The sidelights that flash as you turn remotely lock/unlock it. sometimes it can take 10 minutes of clicking to get the damn things off. Any ideas as to what it is?

You have my deepest sympathy.

Would you like some petrol and a match or can you cope on your own?

Simply a relay, just finding it will take a while!

It's diminished power to the capacitor that triggers the OFF mode. That means a low battery or corrupted power to the capacitor. It is probably embedded in a microchip.

Replace the whole module.
