I have 1987 Towncar. Both rear electric windows need repair. Elec motor runs and will lower window but wont raise it. The window just jiggles when trying to go up. I was told that there is a nylon worm gear on the motor that needs replacing.
How hard is that going to be? Do you have to take out the motor to get the worm gear off? Is it so complex that I should take it to shop and pay them 70 an hour to fix them??? Thanks.
