According to the toyota.com web site:
A Tonneau cover is standard in the 2009 Matrix sold in the U.S.
A Liftback Storage Cover is standard in the 2009 Yaris sold in the U.S.
Either way, you have lots of great places to hide drugs.
Have you checcked with Toyota?
Yeah, on toyota.com, they list "Covered rear storage deck box" and "Liftback storage cover" as standard on Yaris. But who the f.. knows what those are. They provide neither a picture, nor the description of "Liftback storage cover."
