Help please. My windshied wipers only work some of the time. Sometimes I have to turn them on then into fast mode, or intermittant mode to get them to even swipe once. Sometimes they work for 30 seconds then stop, then start up after a bit, or when switching speeds. Auto repair place just told me that both the motor and the switch are working. What could this be?
Likely my favorite, a dead ground... ;-)
I would run a booster cable from the battery negative to the wiper motor to see if that fixes it. If it does then I would look to see which wiper motor bolt has a copper tab under it and clean that up. Or run a dedicated new ground.
