2000 avalon

I need to change my spark plugs, but I can't figure out how to get to the three behind the engine? tia

No no no. No need to remove the intake manifold. It's a pain, but certainly doable. Start by removing the PCV hose and the 12mm bolt/ground strap on the right side of the surge tank. After that its just a matter of patience and few different size ratchets and extensions until you find the right combination to get back there underneath the intake manifold. I use 3" and 5" extensions, and two ratchets, about 5" and 9". Post if you need help.

To change the spark plugs, you need to remove the ignition coils to get at the spark plugs.

68000 miles on my 2000 Avalon, I have changed the front 3 spark plugs, and was eazy, but those 3 in the back looks complicated and I do not know what should or should not to removed, Plz help
