Just had new rear struts put in and now my abs light won't go off. The mechanics couldn't find anything wrong. This wasn't a toyota dealer but it was guys that I've gone to for a long time and their diagnostic equipment wouldn't allow them to access or even clear the code. HELP!

They probably disconnected or damaged one or both of the speed sensor wires when they replaced the struts. If you look in the back wheel wells, there should be a wire that is attached to the bottom part of the strut, leading down to the speed sensor inboard of the brakes. Make sure the wire(s) are plugged in.
