One way around all the b/s at dealerships is to contact the dealers via the Internet.

My son bought his new Corolla that way.

He asked for a specific car with specific options.

The dealer came back with a good price, we flew to Philadelphia, the dealer met us at the airport and took us to the dealership.

No b/s, good price.

My son pre arranged financing, so he had a check with him when we got to the dealership.

Very pleasant.

Scott, I *have* to ask. Did you fly ALL the way from Florida to PA just to get a *deal* on a vehicle? Seems to me that once one factors in the costs of the trip, BOTH ways, it would have had to be one HELL of a deal to make the bottom line profitable.

Scott, another new post of yours just explained that extra $700 junk charge in the SE USA. That explains to me why it made sense to go to Philly.

The deal was excellent.

Cost of one way airfare to Philly from Florida about 230 bucks.

Road trip with your son....priceless.

...and we did not pay the 700 buck South East Toyota add on.

Of course we stopped at my brother's house for the night and a great Mexican dinner on the way home...
