I removed the 2 screws at the bottom of the panel, but it still seems to be held in place. Do I need special tools to remove it and have access to the radio itself?
I searched this newsgroup and I couldn't find detailed instructions.
Thanks.

Should just pull out with a good tug. Before you do, is the ash tray in the bezel? If it is, look for two more screws holding the top of the tray to the dash...
I figured it out. You have to pull on the panel hiding the screws that hold the radio in place until it pops out, then disconnect the cables to the clock, emergency switch and rear defroster.

You need to remove the ashtray ass'y and then the radio bezel,
You 'have' already removed the engine and transmission of course? :)
