Denso PK16R8?

I'm trying to locate a nearby common parts store ( 80226 ) that sells Denso PK16R8 double platinum spark plugs, but can't.

PEP boys said Autozone sells them but they only had Iridium and one other, not these.

Does anyone know who might stock these locally?

There are some Toyota dealers that sell parts online and offer some good deals. Hachi likes Jaffarian's in Haverhill, MA (I know those guys and they are honest) and someone else has mentioned another dealer whose name escapes me.

There's also Champion Toyota in Houston (Dallas???)

They have good prices, and if Sarah is FROM Houston, they're a skip away.

These plugs are HARD TO FIND from parts stores! Try an independant parts store and see if they have them, of if they can get them.

AutoZone doesn't carry these plugs, and maybe can't get them. CarQuest can probably get them OK.

Sarah, you might do a cost study comparing standard non-coated plugs, platinum, double platinum and iridium plugs. Consider the average life of each and the cost over the life of the car (use 150,000 miles). You might find some surprises. The last time I did this, I found that standard non-coated plugs were far and away the winner costing less than half of what the cheapest of the coated plugs cost. I admit that I haven't done this comparison in years so it might not be true anymore.
