Principally in Palestine (and you might consider the conditions there and reflect on how massive unemployment and poverty might play a role in generic dissatisfaction with the world) and at rallies organized by Saddam Hussein and the Taliban. And the people at the Hussein-sponsored rallies didn't look all that enthusiastic about it. And those were the only three groups that opposed our invasion of Afghanistan.

When bin Laden attacked the WTC, he didn't just attack a couple of our buildings, he attacked the dreams of pretty much any Westernized Muslim in the world, which is actually an awful lot of people.
We could have drawn on aid and support from these people. But, as I said, Al-Qaeda told them that this was a War on Islam and then we invaded Iraq and provided evidence that maybe it is. Tancredo will erase all doubt.
Half the regulars here get cranked about sending the wrong message when Congress exercises its responsbilities in oversight, budgeting and lawmaking to look into the conduct of the war and figure out whether it's useless or not.
How does it help us to have Tancredo publicly recommend that we hold their holy places hostage? What message does that send?
