How could he do that, the needle always reads F after he fills up.

Yep, just like I said, "Pour piss out of boot." Poor guy.
My long-term mem.... or is it short-..... What were we talking about?
What you want to do is to fill up your tank, don't top it, let it stop when the pump stops. Set your trip odometer to zero. The next time you fill it, write down mileage and the gallons used to fill it back up. Keep track over a few fill ups for better accuracy.
Thank you for your help! I had been told the tank was probably larger. Glad to know for sure. I usually fill the tank when it gets a little past 1/4 on the gauge.
I just checked this link - OMG, but my memory is astounding me (in the positive sense, for once)! I'd posted that the gas tank is 13 or maybe
13.2 gallons. It *is* 13.2. How the hell did I manage to remember that from years ago?! Cathy ============= Uh... Brain cobwebs migrated to the koochie??? ...ya think...? And you thought being repulsive had no upside..married to someone, and the mother of someone who check those things for me, but yes, I do know how to do it. Natalie

Why do some people find this so hard?
...and try to use the same pump handle at the same pump. Different handles can trip at different fill points. Tomes

Holy cow!!! 2 in one day???
I guess I'll have someone check my knots and rigging before I rappel this weekend!
When I have discussions with the missus, the opposite seems to be true... I'm wrong all the time!
But... I seemed to be right before we got married...

Then tell your wife she's a disgrace to married women! Gotta train them before the fact!
