vibrating plate-like sound coming from under the engine which seems only to happen when car is idling. I took it to the dealer. They apparently removed a heat sheild that was loose. It still makes a sound. In fact it?s louder.

Take it back to the dealer and show them what it's doing, when it's doing it. Noises are hard on the NG.
As Ph@Boy mentioned, it is difficult to diagnose noises and vibrations without experiencing them first hand.
Heat shields are a common source of noise, but it is generally not a good idea to remove them. I doubt if the dealer removed a heat shield, more likely, they tried to secure it somehow. Take it back so that they can hear it first hand.
My guess is that it is a heat shield for the catalytic converter or the noise is coming from the flex pipe.
