Hi, Bought a used Corolla, 2001 @ 41K miles last year in April. It is currently @ 55K miles. The rear drums have a lot of rust all over. The rear brakes work just fine and so does the parking brake. I would like to get the external surface cleaned thogh. What is the easiest way to get rid of the rust apart from using a sand paper. The reason is a sand paper would be a pain to use to get at the rust between the cooling fins.
Any place i could get them sand blasted. Rather the question is what kind of a shop to look for to get it sand blasted.
Any alternatives?
Plan to do it this weekend as the weather forecast says its going to be warm and sunny here in central NJ.
Appreciate your feedback.
Regards.
