Is OK to combine antifreeze on Toyota with Honda antifreeze?

Hi all, I have 2 cars , one is Toyota Echo 2004, the other is Honda Element

2004.which are both in great shape, not any problem. Both need to add some antifreeze to the right level.

Is that correct to buy original antifreeze from Toyota dealer and fill also into my Honda or vice-versa?

Thank you, Chris

Don't mix them.

Mixing incompatible antifreezes destroys the extended-life additives.

You have no idea if the two are compatible. Use the correct antifreeze for each.

You can as long as it meets specs. You can buy a gallon of "universal" at any mass merchandiser and it will work just fine to top it off.

Best to flush out with distilled water (at least 3 times until clear) and use one type with distilled water. Don't mix them.
