Oh boy! The reliable, un-conflicted, unbiased Chertoff family and Popular Mechanics is debunking again.
The only *real* debunking of Katrina has been done by Naomi Klein with her expose of the Friedman gang of opportunistic crooks that thrive on the misfortune of others. Planned, as in war, Chile, Poland or....., accidental, as in Katrina and the Pacific Tsunami. The jury is out on whether 9/11 was planned, allowed or remarkable luck on the part of a handful of Saudi's but the results have been the same. Profiteering.

If you belive 9/11 was planned by anyone outside of Al Qaida, then you're severely underestimating the gross incompetence of the Bush administration.
