Nice, huh? I'm hurting trying to fill the oil tank for heat, and they're raking it in hand over fist.
There's something *wrong* here...

Yeah, I'll tell you whats wrong.... dummies like you and me work at car dealerships instead of owning oil companies. Seems like the hot ticket. Maybe we should start one.
Slim-Ku Oil?
Godammit, thats brilliant! Didn't know you have a marketing degree.
Not. When the price of oil goes up, of course they make huge profits, but then they have to buy the crude for refinement at the new high prices. Oops, there go the huge profits. It's like buying a house 10 years ago for $75,000 and selling it now for $175,000. You profit-mongering bastard fatcat, they ought to tax that "excess profit" away from you! Oh, oops, now you have to buy a house at today's prices! There goes a large chunk of your $100,000 profit. Never mind, you're not so bad after all.
Leaving aside the whole idea that making a profit *used to* be admired as an honorable thing to achieve, and now it's automatically derided as dishonest. Whatever happened to the great capitalists of America?
