Who remembers this (HTML)

Why does it suck? Lots of people set up their news readers to view ONLY in text mode, not HTML. So, it doesn't matter what you send. Some of us still see just text. If I switch to HTML, I see the stupid, childish tiny font you usually use, which is asinine.

Nah, it wasn't the h9q. That was the keys I punched using a Japanese font to get the t3q.

The logo was probably on the back side of your 'valet' key. The keys had rubber heads starting in '82 or '84, IIRC, and before that they were metal and said Toyota on one side and t3q on the other.

Cool! I remember the 'Publica', it became the S800, and then there later was a japanese model called the Publica, but it's a van-ish type thing, IIRC. I remeber the EX series, also. The EX became the Soarer, another JDM model until it was released in the US as the Lexus SC300/400. I also remember the RV series, but I don't think they ever went into production.

Hmmmm...what are you using for a character set?

I had a Plymouth & a Datsun before '84, so perhaps never had a Toytoa key w/that logo?

Or else didn't spend much time gazing at the flip side of my car keys. ;-)

Thunderbird obviously sucks then. It works fine in OE.

Microsoft is certainly not a 'benevolent corporation'. Now, I am all for Laissez Faire in business, but some things have to be controlled to an extent.

Is MS a Monopoly? No, but if something even SMELLS like something MS has in tha works, they're the first ones to call up a lawsuit. Shoot, they've even sued companies that were producing something they had just 'thought' of incorporating into Windows.

The best things MS ever did? DOS 5/6. Windows 95. Windows NT 4.0 MAYBE XP. ME was a wash, Windows '98 was a weak washover of 95, and Vista...UGH! I'll wait for a couple years before BUYING it, like I did with XP. When the Beta stops functioning, I'm back to XP.

Since they didn't think of yENC, they won't incorporate it. Even my Free Pan newsreader has yENC already included.

I really like OE as a mail program. As much as I dislike it as a Newsreader. Don't like Netscape's, either.

Oh, and I make my living supporting people using Microsoft apps...
