Who remembers this (HTML)

Dec 29, 2006 48 Replies

I was playing with some fonts I found on the web (about 1000!) and ran across this one. Does the bold text below look familiar to anyone? Not an exact replication, but close. The original was a more 'stylized' logo. And if you DO remember it, it shows how long you've been associated with Toyotas!

I don't wanna hear any griping about HTML from the usual suspects. This is an 'experiment' with Outhouse Express.

However, if you can see this, let me know! If you can't let me know!

You have been warned!

We do not have the font you are talking about so we can't see what you're seeing.

Oh, dear...it was supposed to be embedded.

My theories about OE are correct...it sucks...

Going back to our last discussion...I Fat Fingered the keyboard...

I have corrected it, but doubt I'll be using OE very often...

I'm using Thunderbird. I was looking at the source and it appears that it attempted to embed it but was unsuccessful.

Hmmm...well at least OE TRIES to do it...most newsreaders aren't even that 'sophisticated'...

It was supposed to be the old Toyota Logo that looked like t3q...

I see it, but have no clue as to its connotations.

If your font is fixed width you should be able to see this...:

__ __/ /_ __ _____ __ /_ __/ / / / ___/ / / / /___/ / / /__/ / / /_______/ /____/ / / ______________/ / /_____________ / /_/

If not go to

N00b! ;) If you saw the 't3q', it is the old Toyota logo from before 1992. It was usually on the key, in the manuals and on various parts around the car.

Thanks! I've been looking for one of those! I had a smaller version, but this is great!

??

I saw "h9q". I've had Toyotas since '84, but have to admit that I don't remember the "t3q", either.

Cathy

It appears to be upside down though... :)

Here is the ascii art with the correct orientation.

__ / /_____________ / ______________/ / / _____ ________ / / / __/ / ____ / / / / __/ / / __/ /_ /_/ /____/ /_/ /_ __/ /_/

This is a pretty cool site too!

Checked again-- h3q it is on this end
