Bypassing the governor in 1997 Camry LE

Could anybody tell me how I may be able to bypass the governor in my 1997 Toyota Camry LE to get more speed?

Thank you.

What is the top governed road speed now? Just curious as my '03 Corolla is limited to 112 mph.

Yeah, convert it over to a carbureted engine. Why would you want to go over 115 MPH?

I dunno, I may be going back to Germany after a 12 year hiatus, and may take my 94 Camry. Not that I really need/want/can go above 115 MPH.

Traffic jams were bad enough back then... but still was nice to go 130 MPH if wanted to or could in my 929 and Audi. I can tell you, your first merging on the Autobahn with traffic going 120++++ MPH is interesting to say the least. Wheel alignment/balance takes on a whole new meaning.

I can still remember driving 120 MPH, and being passed by a Testarossa like I was sitting still. Damn thing came up in my rear view like a bullet. Same story, just substitute BMW 850i or Mercedes V12
