I replaced a condenser on my '88 Camry (4 cyl) with a basic $4 silver condenser and replaced the broken timing belt at the same time. I then tried to start it and it wouldn't start. Since I have a '90 Camry with identical distributor, I thought I'd see if it was the '88 distributor that was the problem, so swapped distributors after marking the timing. Still, the '88 (with '90 distributor) wouldn't start. But the '90 (with '88 distributor) wouldn't start either. So, I swapped them back, so that each one had it's own distributor again. Now, my '90, which started before, won't start!!! I aligned my timing mark that I scratched onto the distributor so my timing is what it was before. Any ideas what I have done wrong here?
