I have a 98 Camry. The driver side speaker in the lower door panel is bad. Can the speaker be replaced without removing the panel?

How is that done? i looked at mine (I was replacing the stock speakers with some 2-way JBLs) and didn't see any way to do it - and two car audio installers confirmed it. (I had the second one install the speakers) It appears possible to remove the factory grille, but the speaker remains mounted from behind...
