Is ther much to replacing the front motor mount on a '93 camry? It seems pretty straightforward, but are there some suprises that could be lurking for someone who has not played with a Toyota before? Also, struts....should I replace both front at once or can i get away with just one side?

Re the struts. Replacing one side only is inviting trouble unless you had a rebound graph taken on all 4 strurs and that indicated one side was like new, Even in this event, the original untouched 'good' side will not last as long as the 'replaced strut' side.
I had a Mitsy Diamante which had one side less efficient at damping suspension oscillations than the other (usually the kerb-side goes first, as that is where the pot-holes are). The car was near impossible to drive at hi-way speeds, what with the rocking body.

I replaced the front and dogbone mounts on my 94 four. The front had a very tight top nut and was a bear loosen. Afterwards it wasn't too bad. If the front has to be replaced, chances are the the other two should also. The rear one was too tough for me so I had it done.
