I'm looking for some parts from older 'Yotas. Perhaps before you scrap that junker out we can make some arrangements!
- Looking for a steering wheel from a late '80's/early 90'2 (no airbag) Celica, blue interior. I'm a bit fanatic about keeping my cars original, but I like the design of the wheel from these years.
- 1983-85 Celica GTS seat, black. Want to put these in my 'rolla GT-S. The original seats were ripped the first time the car was stolen, and they were 00 each to replace, so it has '86 SR-5 seats now. Like the Celica seats, they grip real nice. Of course, if someone has the 'rolla GT-S seats, that might be nice, too.
Now for the biggie:
Like to get my hands on a decent 1.6 4-AGE, like in the 'rolla. This give me two options:
I can swap the engine from my '85 and rebuild it while it's out, or, I can put the spare in my '95 Tercel and have some freakin OOOMPH!
Also, mirrors from an '83 or '84 Celica, power of course!
And, while we're at it, if someone has a window switch from the same year Celica, that would be good, too (driver's door switch). Paid $200 for the car, Toy want $165 for the switch!
If you have an '83-85 Celica with what I need and are thinking of junking it, let me know. The closer you are to New England, the better. The 4AGE right now is kind of a pipe dream, although I have found them for ~$400.
