Warranty Service

Jun 27, 2003 1 Replies

I just bought a 2002 Camry LE as a used car with 26,500 miles on it. Yesterday, while having the oil changed, it was pointed out to me that the oil pan gasket was leaking slightly. Is it reasonable for me to expect this to be covered under the Toyota 36-month/36000 mile warranty? I want to be ready in case the dealer's service department tells me that it is not covered.

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

Yes unless it appears that it was damaged by a road obstacle.
