I need to buy a seat for this truck, with headrests, either bench or ind. seats. anyone have any idea when models changed, so I know what years to look at, or can point me in the right direction.

'84 was the first year of the new model. Ya might look at other models -- Supra and Celica have nice seats as do the later 4Rnrs. Ya might have to fabricate a spacer or bracket. I had an '83 and got a reupholstery kit from JC Whitney that fit like OEM.
I have '88 4Runner seats in my '82, you will have to drill your own holes, mounting holes do not line up with the stock ones Fred '03 WR450F
