Hey there, I'm a new-timer in this NG. Anyways, I just bought this truck as my first car and the previous owner said that the front brakes need some work.
Well, I took off the tire, and low and behold, one of the rotors was rusty and so gnarled up, while the other was still shiney with very little wear. Still, we couldn't turn the rotors so I went and bought new rotors for 23 dollars each. BTW, taking off the rotors were and absolute pain (the hub work has so many parts)
Anyways, I'm asking why one of the rotors would looks so crappy, and the other look so good? It could be possibly that the previous owner only turned one of the rotors and god brake pads for it.
