Camper shell hoist

Anybody out there with some real world experience using a camper shell hoist? I have a Leer fiberglass camper shell on the back of my '02 Tacoma and I'd love to easily remove it and store it above the truck in the garage. Any recommendations of good manufacturers and/or brands to avoid? Any experience using one? How solid are they? Can I feel safe dangling my shell above the hood of my truck 10' in the air? Thoughts?????

No experience with hoists, but you might try posting your question on ALT.RV if you don't get an answer in here.

I use 4 cargo straps and a pair of cross bars to hoist mine up to the garage rafters:

I found them on the Internet but have no experience with them. Roll-A-Way has three types.

Does anybody have experience with theses?
