one piece rear driveshaft 85 toyota pu 4x4

I want to change my two piece driveshaft to a one piece driveshaft. Mainly to eliminate the carrier bearing. I have gone through two carrier bearings in a year. any info on good idea bad idea or where to get one or have one made would be appreciated.
