I have an '89 toyo 4x4 and i just got a recall notice about a steering relay rod. anybody know what it does and how it functions? any tell tale signs that its already failing would be most appreciated.

I had the steering relay rod on my 91 4x4 replaced last spring under the recall. I believe I had read that there were cracks developing in some of the rods that were inspected so Toyota decided to change them all for safety reasons. The dealer also did a front end alignment…
