installed a new wire harness in my 67 beetle. everything works except the dome light won't come on when i open either door. it does go on using the switch on the light though. help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

On Sat, 25 Oct 2003 03:43:14 GMT, "paul horvath" ran around screaming and yelling:
check to make sure that the "pinswitch" in the door jamb is making a good contact...put a testlight on it...connect the clip to a hot fuse then touch the pointed end of the light to the connector on the switch...push it a few times...when out the testlight should light up..J
