installed a new black box in my 67 beetle(9 prong relay). this one has a brown wire attatched to it. any idea where this goes? wasn't mentioned in the new wire harness instructions i used for the new wire harness.
I have a color wiring diagram for a 1967 type I I could email you if you like. I had to use a new style relay for mine, so I no longer have the black box to refer to, but my diagram says there is a brown wire running to the "S" connection on the emergency flasher switch.
If you already have a wire from the flasher to the Hazard "S" terminal, this Brw is a ground wire.
