Here in Northern New jersey, I found out about a project that was dropped by someone. The car is a 68 VW convertible, body is off the pan. The pans have been replaced and the body needs new heater channels and reinforcement rails. The original engine is still attached to the pan, I was told it wasn't running. The owner has a spare engine AE engine number which probably places it as 1971. This engine was rebuilt less than 10,000 miles ago. The guy has lots of parts to go with the car,but no title. What's something like this worth? i think he will take $300 for the whole lot. If anyone is interested let me know, I can give you his numbers.
