What do you think?? I have a 1960 european bug with semaphores from W Germany. It has been converted to 12v.. disc brake.. drop spindles.. 67 transaxle.. 1600cc DP.. I paid $2800.. I want it to be worth $6000 after being painted.. and new stuff. Interior is stock.. has a grant GT wheel now. Has wew wiring, chromies, directional Potenza tires.. Going to put a flip out DVD in the glove box.. would it be ok to add a StreetBeats fiberglass sliding 3 fold ragtop kit?? or would it be stupid and actually lower the value because of the alteration?

After adding a 1914cc with turbo setup I'd like the vehicle to be worth

8k atleast. Would this ragtop kit take away?? I like the ragtop.. I just dont want to ruin my vehicle.. It's a hole in the roof with drop in kit??!! I have plans on having this vehicle untill I nearly die.. although not to sell.. I'd like to keep it worth something. I know it has allready been altered beyonf belief.. so what do you think? Would it take away or add to the vehicle to add an aftermarket type kit.. from the top with top closed would look nearly stock.. top open you'd see the fiberglass rails.. etc.

Still looking to purchase an engine case 94mm cylinder boring tool...... anyone?

too much concentration on what you want the car to be worth....i can guarantee you it's worth nothing till you actually sell it and someone hands you the cabbage...
