I recommend voting for someone you believe in or halfway or more agree with,.....................not against someone, which is what most people who will vote for Kerry will do. I have not seen many people agree with much of his "view" or views.................just all who are supporting him are just so Hatefilled toward Bush.............A sad occaision indeed.

It's is not, it isn't ain't, and it's it's, not its, if you mean it is. If you don't, it's its. Then too, it's hers. It isn't her's. It isn't our's either. It's ours, and likewise yours and theirs. -- Oxford University Press, Edpress News
I'm sure I'm not the only one, but often Mr. Hoover will send me an email as a response to a question I've posted, an answer I'm sure most of you all knew, but as a newbie to the VW game, I didn't. It didn't stop him from taking his time and giving me full detail answers that I could understand (layman's terms) and not just a quickie 3-4 word answer. In fact, if you want to get right down to it, he may have saved my life (in a round about way) by telling me to be very cautious about the dust from sanding especially the old undercoating as it may or may not have asbestos in it. So yea......he's my hero !!

74 Std BettyI'm voting for Kerry because Bush wants to cut funding for 88,000 police officers and because he's only said one thing so far I disagree with, and that's the school voucher issue. Granted I want Bush out, I think people are actually listening to Kerry and the majority who vote for him are going to do it because he makes sense. But hey, at least he didn't claim to invent the internet or post it notes. :) K. "A hundred days to make me older since the last time that I saw your pretty face. A thousand lies to make me colder and I don't think I could look at this the same, but all the miles that seperate disappear now when I remember your face."
.................He's helped me several times in the past through private correspondence as well. I like his no nonsense style and I owe him for a lot of what I now know. His writings are invaluable to anyone who wants to learn about aircooled VWs.
I did not mean to start anything with the Donald Duck remark. What I meant was Bob is the king of vw knowlege and information but maybe not qualified for president but I would vote for him in this election. Dennis

Thank you, all, for the kind words but (you KNEW there had to be a 'but,' right? :-) ...but the last time I checked the credit goes to the person doing the work. YOU are the Mechanic-in-Charge, not me.
Jake is confusing my willingness to help with my ability to do so. At long-range, dealing with an alien cooling system, my main contribution was encouragement.
Your comments are warmly appreciated but I think we can take this off-list now.

That encouragement kept me going, and thats what helped to drop engine temperatures 100 degrees on the left bank of cylinders and create a cooling system that runs within 20 degrees on all 4 cylinders- while keeping the entire engine cooler... period!
Thanks for your help!!!!!!!!
Shucks, add another "me too" from me.

Yeah, I guess you're right. That whole deal was just to out of left field...

Did you forget to submit your absentee ballot?
I have no intention of, nor desire to be a "nanny" in this or any other NG, just stating my opinion as many others in this group are known to do...
