Has anyone ever replace the boots on the upper torsion arms on the axle? If so, how did you remove the large bolt surrounding the ball joint?

I worked on my front beam recently and used a separator tool:

Since you don't care about the boots and will be replacing them anyway, you can get them off with a pickle fork.
