I AM NEW TO THE BUG SCENE AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TYPE1,2,3,4, SORRY FOR WHAT IS PROBABLY A STUPID QUESTION

TYPE1,2,3,4, SORRY FOR WHAT IS PROBABLY A STUPID QUESTION.

They are different cars...

Type 1 = Volkswagen Beetle

Type 2 = Vans, e.g. camper van, commercial van
formatting link
Type 3 = More 'normal' looking cars, made in Estate / Stationwagen, fastback and saloon / sedan versions

Type 4 = Look very much like a type 3

In common they all have aircooled engines mounted in the rear of the car.

By the way, please stop writing everything in BLOCK CAPS as it's very annoying.
