empi aluminum case?

i have heard some of the first batches of cases had quality problems,i want one but i dont want a bad one.anybody got one yet?i love the idea of a longer service life than a mag one.300.00 seems to be the going price it seems.im going totally stock and im in it for the long haul so i want the most out of this engine.300.00 is a major purchase for me..............thanks...............james
