Loses power under acceleration but only when warmed up

Apr 24, 2007 1 Replies

I've got a recently-purchased '75 campermobile that seems just fine until it gets warmed up -- and then it loses power under acceleration.

I didn't notice the problem when I first bought it but after driving it about 100 miles I first noticed the problem starting going around curves on the interstate but then it became persistent.

Any suggestions (other than get my money back)?

Where are you? What engine? Carby?

My hunch says it is something simple, rather than a destroyed engine. Question is- what?

Fuel starvation?

Electrical problem?

Post as many clues as is possible.
